TRANSFORMATION

Abutting one of the busiest intersections in a gradually diminishing industrial area in Kowloon, the Grandion Plaza attempts to re-interpret its surrounding yet vanishing urban context, which dates back to the 60s. As a metaphor, the building exhilarates strong contrast to the surrounding predated horizontal lines by its ever-shifting vertical planes and interlocking lines. This manifestation is more pronounced with lighting effects at night.
