Together with the Block X’s joint academic and circulation hub concept at one end, the proposed sky walkway will help link the island site of Phase 8 back to the main campus. To cope with the 80-meter-long single span over one of the busiest highways in Hong Kong and be truthful to its structural nature, the footbridge depicts the elegance and vitality of a leaping fish to celebrate the university’s achievement in all areas of its technological innovation.
