The original facilities has been in service since 1962. The new reprovisioning project includes the addition of new cremators, multipurpose service halls and ancillary offices. The fenestration on the exterior of the service block defuses the sunlight, cools the building, dissimulates the building mass, and effectively creates a solemn sense of grandeur for the service halls.
